Showing off her outfits in her daily Instagram posts, the key to Holly Willoughby’s toned and trim figure is the topic of much debate – but now it’s finally been revealed that a simple, protein-rich diet is the secret.

Her much-envied physique is maintained by three key foods, according to the Sunday Mirror. A TV insider told the paper, “Holly is determined to keep her new-look body, so she eats chicken, carrots and hummus.”

According to the source, Holly’s sweet snack of choice is a packet of mango, to stop her reaching for the chocolate.

The star, who has previously credited pilates as the key to her slim figure, has also reportedly taken up ballet and kickboxing as part of her fitness regime. “She loves doing them. She says she’s found ‘a new me’ and won’t be giving up any time soon,” the insider added.

Amidst the speculation about her weightloss, Holly herself has decided to remain shtum about the subject – insisting that being happy is her main concern.

“The children are a little bit older, so I’ve got a bit more time for myself,” she told Lorraine Kelly earlier this year. “And I’m always one of those people that if you feel happy and healthy that’s all that matters.”
