This Morning fans were not happy yesterday when it was revealed hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield would be taking the whole summer off.
Holly, 37, and Phil, 56, present the show Monday to Thursday with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes taking over on Fridays, but as the married couple opened the show yesterday they revealed they would be presenting it for the foreseeable future.
Used to seeing Holly and Phil every morning, viewers were rather upset with the shake up and took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

âNo Phil and Holly for 6 weeks, Iâm heartbroken,” one person tweeted, while another added: âI don’t see any point in watching #ThisMorning for the next 7 weeks, if Willoughby ain’t on it.â
One fan seemed to have missed the announcement at the start of the show and tweeted: âErrrr whereâs Holly and Phil⊔
However, not everyone was upset about their absence with one fan tweeting: âLooking forward to seeing @RuthieeL and @EamonnHolmes back on @thismorning for the summer… Great presenters as are Phil and Holly #ThisMorning.â
But who will take over the show when Ruth and Eamonn need a day off?
After the announcement was made at the beginning of the show, Eamonn added: âBut I might have to go to my sonâs wedding,â to which Ruth replied: âYes me too.â
Previous hosts and regular stand-ins include Rylan Clark-Neal, Emma Willis, Amanda Holden and Ben Shephard.
Holly and Philâs break from This Morning shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise though as the pair always take the summer holidays off and even jet off to sunny locations with each other’s families.
It seems the famous pair may already be on holiday together as over the weekend, Phillip shared several snaps and videos of them together on his Instagram story where they were drinking Aperol.
