Strictly professional dancer Katya Jones has penned a sweet message of support to her fellow dancer husband Neil Jones, after it was revealed he wouldn't have a celebrity partner this year.

Katya, who won the show with Joe McFadden last year, shared the adorable message saying that she couldn’t thank her husband enough for ‘being there for me’.

Sharing a snap of herself and Neil from the Strictly launch, she said, ‘One more from the red carpet, Just because I love this photo of me and @mr_njonesofficial .

‘He might not have a partner again this year, but I can’t thank him enough for being there for me for the third year in a row! As we vowed – for better, for worse… #thejoneses #neilandkatya #dancers #couplesgoals #strictlycomedancing #strictly #ballroom #husband #wife #thursday #tbt’.

So sweet!

Fans flocked to share their own messages of support for Neil and Katya. One wrote, ‘give Neil a partner!! Everyone clearly loves him 😍’, while another agreed, saying, ‘Just crazy and so not fair! But loving the love and commitment you guys have to each other! #sostrong #couplegoals #truelove’.

And a third fan agreed, ‘Neil is a wonderful dancer as are you both but he does deserve his time to shine I hope he gets a partner next year xx’.

Neil – who has been on the show for three years – confirmed the news himself, that he would not be getting a celebrity partner.

Taking to his Instagram, he said, ‘Unfortunately, I won’t be paired up this series. But do not worry, I’m still going to be there every single week, in all the group numbers, in the music acts, on It Takes Two.’

The show have this year welcomed three new professional dancers – Luba Mushtuk, Graziano Di Prima, and Johannes Radebe.

It’s thought that all three of the new pros will be paired with a celebrity partner.

However, the news won’t be confirmed until the first show of the new series. And a few days ago, it was announced that the launch show would be taking place on Saturday 8th September!

Eek – we can’t wait now! Are you excited for the return of Strictly?
