When you have a fuller bust, finding a bra which is not only supportive and comfortable but also flattering and fashionable, can be more difficult than we would like.
Bralets have made a huge comeback. They are no longer regarded as a training bra that teens reluctantly wear. They are more fashionable than ever and luckily all the major brands are taking note.
The thought of an unsupported bra might raise a red flag for those with fuller busts but, it seems some women have found a winner in this bralet from Marks and Spencers. The best news? Not only do these women with busts as big as 32K say they love it, the bralet costs less than a tenner! No wonder M&S have seen bralet sales up 240 per cent from last year!
Yes, at just £9.50 M&S have really given us something to get excited about. The printed lace non-padded bralet comes in two floral designs and in sizes 8 to 18. And, there are matching knickers available if you would like the complete set.
There is no fastening so you have to slip it on over your head. It has added stretch which should make this a little easier and once you have it on simply adjust the straps as normal. It is non-wired and non-padded which is ideal for those with a fuller bust.
The Isabella lace bralet is very similar and comes in four different colours which are a little more staple. You can choose from black, white, tomato and nude pink. This bralet is also available in sizes 8 to 18 and also cots just £9.50.
Soozie Jenkinson, Head of Lingerie Design at M&S revealed why she thinks bralets are so popular. She said: “Lingerie has seen a real shift with an increased focus on comfort and the natural female silhouette, explaining why the bralet, with its lightweight and delicate features is becoming a go-to style for a lot of women. The laid back, unstructured and casual shape appeals to our customer who have been buying into this popular style of bra, which start from just £9.50 for the Isabella lace bralet. The bralet has certainly become a lingerie drawer staple!”
One facebook user shared her review of the bralet online after she saw other people posting positive comments about it.
She said: “I am currently 5 weeks post partum and exclusively breastfeeding – my BOB size is currently 32K (Usual size 32FF).”
The lady, who is usually a clothes size 10/12, bought a size 16 bralet and said that not only was it practical for breastfeeding it was also very comfortable.
Another happy customer said: “M&S bralettes are lovely. I’m 30H and get on with them really well (I bought size 14).”
A third added: “My 32GG Boobs are loving the M&S bralets at the moment.”
