Melanie Sykes has showed off her incredible figure with a string of bikini snaps to celebrate her 48th birthday.

The telly presenter has been enjoying a sun-soaked getaway for her big day while also giving her social media followers a glimpse inside the luxurious holiday.

In one post, Mel can be seen jumping head first into a swimming pool in a navy and orange bikini while flaunting her impressive body.

The fitness fanatic is clearly keen to kick off her celebrations in the right way, as she wrote next to the series of snaps, “Diving into my 48th year on this planet 😁🤘🏻 #birthdaygirl”, before adding the hashtags: “#diving #pool #birthdaygirl #48today🎂 #Leo”.

And the broadcaster was sure to set pulses racing as she shared another sizzling snap yesterday while catching some rays on a pebble-filled beach in Mallorca.

Lying down in the sun, Mel can be seen posing up a storm in a paisley-printed two-piece which shows off her toned abs.

And it looks like we’re not the only ones seriously impressed with the star’s holiday snaps as her 162k followers couldn’t wait to gush over Mel’s amazing bod.

“Happy birthday @msmelaniesykes looking amazing, more like 28”, wrote one.

Another commented, “Congratulations Melanie. By eck lass, keep on giving the inspiration”, while a third added: “Wowzer woman you get younger everyday!!”

And a fourth agreed, “How do you manage to look hotter in ever pic you post!”

Mel has been busy documenting her mini break away since she arrived on the Spanish island last week, and has shared a load of bikini snaps as well as some photos of her amazing surroundings.

In one photo, the Lorraine star gave followers a sneak peek of where she’s been spending her downtime – and it looks pretty amazing.

With a private pool looking out over the picturesque mountain range and abundance of palm trees, we can see why Mel is having such a great birthday!

Meanwhile, the TV favourite recently opened up about staying in shape, crediting her youthful figure to two yoga sessions a week, and cutting dairy and alcohol from her diet.

Speaking to Your Fitness magazine in February, she explained, “Fitness keeps me mentally happy, and it’s an investment into my old age.

“Starting training in my 30s has definitely paid off in my 40s, and I’m hoping to keep myself fit and healthy with the right foods and exercise so that I have energy and am content into my later years.”
