Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon has slammed rumours that his buddy Paddy McGuinness went on a ‘date’ with former 90s singer Nicole Appleton.
The Take Me Out host was subject to a media storm just last month, when pictures emerged of him and Nicole arm-in-arm leaving a London restaurant.
Soon after, pictures of Paddy’s wife Christine McGuinness in tears surfaced – leaving the state of their marriage in question.
But now, Keith has hit back at any rumours of unrest between Paddy and Christine, reassuring that “all is good” at home for the pair.
Speaking to the Metro, he said, “Paddy’s fantastic. As for his personal life, I guess I’m not supposed to talk about it so better not do…I know everything’s cool at home. That’s probably as much as I can give out.
Keith even went on to slam Paddy’s date as b******s – claiming that he was actually there too.
“Actually I will say something, he didn’t have a date with Nicole Appleton, because I was there too!
“And I’m like, ‘How come I’m not in the f*****g pictures?’. It was all nothing but b******s.”
Keith then went on to say, “Everything’s ace and he’s really excited for The Keith And Paddy Picture Show.”
Following the media furore, Paddy and Nicole later unfollowed one another on social media – sparking more rumours as to the truth of their relationship.
However, Paddy and wife Christine, 30, have since been pictured out and about together – suggesting all really is well between the couple.
Paddy and Christine live in Cheshire with their tree children – twins Leo and Penelope, and one-year-old daughter Felicity.
Just recently, telly star Paddy paid tribute to his “amazing, strong, supportive” wife of four years, for International Women’s Day. He penned a poignant Twitter post.
He wrote, “To all the ladies out there and my amazing, strong, supportive wife! A fantastic mother to our 3 wonderful children, we’re all blessed for having you in our lives. Thank you for everything @MrsCMcGuinness #internationalwomensday2018.”
