Jane Fonda is one of the most famous Hollywood stars ever - and has always been known for being very sexy.

Now, Jane has confessed – at 80 years old – she still loves pornography, especially erotic fiction.

And not only that, she found S&M novel Fifty Shades of Grey too tame for her liking – despite starring in film Book Club earlier this year, which saw four older ladies’ sex lives reinvigorated by the book.

During an interview with the High Heels and Hangovers podcast, she said: “I’ve read really good pornography. I lived in France for years and I read it when it first came out because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

“[Fifty Shades] is not a very good book but I’m glad it was written and I think it titillated and juicified a lot of women in the United States. That’s a good thing.”

Despite confessing to her love of porn, Jane also added she’s “closed up shop” in the sex department, after splitting from her long-term boyfriend 75-year-old Richard Perry last year.

Jane, who has been married three times, said: “I have closed up shop down there. Nobody has to keep on being sexual later in life. It should be up to us to make the decision.”

She added: “I am not dating any more. I am 80, and it is only over when you decide it is going to be over.”

It’s a far cry from the two-time Oscar winner’s feelings about sex when she met Richard in 2009 – eight years after divorcing her husband of 10 years Ted Turner.

At the time, she claimed intimacy improves for women as they get older.

The actress told News Corp: “At 74, I have never had such a fulfilling sex life.”

She added: “For women it gets better because we understand our bodies more. We know what we need and we know what we like and we’re less afraid to ask for it.”
