Meghan Markle has made a return to social media, and her account has alread ryacked up plenty of followers.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launch a joint Instagram profile, which is sure to be a hit with fans of the royals.

The official Kensington Palace profile announced the exciting news, which a blue image that read, “OFFICIAL INSTAGRAM for their ROYAL HIGHNESSES the DUKE and DUCHESS of SUSSEX.”

“Welcome to Instagram, SussexRoyal! Follow for more on the work of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex 👉,” the post was captioned, and also features the couple’s very own emblem.

The happy couple, who are expecting their first child together, shared the image on their profile too – along with several other snaps from the past 12 months.

“Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues,” they wrote alongside the post.

“We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”- Harry & Meghan.”

Followers were quick to comment on the post and were delighted to see 37-year-old Meghan returning to the picture sharing site.

The former Suits actress had her own personal Instagram account when she first started dating Prince Harry, but it has since been disabled.

Taking to the comments section, one fan wrote, “Finally! Welcome, perfect timing ❤️”

A second person wrote, “Happy to have both of you here! Can’t wait to see more of the amazing work you do worldwide ❤️” while a third added, “Finally! We Love You Two so much!!!!!!! ✨👑🕊♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️”

The couple will no doubt use the profile to share snaps of their newborn child, with Meghan rumoured to be due this month.

Harry, 34, and Meghan are keeping a low profile whilst waiting for their baby to arrive and for their move to Frogmore House in Windsor to be completed.
