Danniella Westbrook has wowed in a unusually glamorous get-up for a recent awards ceremony.
The 44-year-old – who has endured a tough few months – was attending the National Film Awards in London, where she had been chosen to present an award.
The former Eastenders actress got dressed up to the nines for the fancy evening, decked out in a glittering gold gown with an elegant white shawl draped over her arms.
The mum-of-two paired her outfit with simple pink Chanel clutch, and a French manicure.
She donned a sparkling sequinned dress, with a billowing sheer train, hiding her leg-lengthening choice of stiletto heels.
Danniella also received a cheeky kiss from her agent on her way out from the awards ceremony.
Danniella’s stunning look was certainly a transformation from her usual look. Rarely is the star seen dressed in such sparkling, glamorous attire – but it’s definitely a good look on her!
Danniella was clearly excited about the glamorous event too, tweeting about how much she was looking forward to the ceremony hours before it began.
She wrote, “I’m super excited to be part of this years @NATFilmAwards it’s for sure going to be the most amazing evening .”
Discussing she pre-show prep, she also said, “Fresh out the 🛀 and read for bed,big day tomorrow presenting an award at the most prestigious awards ceremony 😉 #HollywoodStyle #Excited #makeupfreeface #off2bed #TheWestbrook 💋 Good night God bless 💋💋😴”.
However, it seems the excitement might have slightly got the best of the actress, who later admitted she was struggling to nod off.
Danniella wrote, “Can’t sleep hopes the hot bath has helped xx good night god bless my friends 💋💋💋”.
At the film awards, Daniella was also joined by a host of other famous faces, including Sarah Harding, Peter Andre, and Debbie McGee.
The glittering night out follows a difficult few months for Danniella.
Back in 2017, she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, after her split from her former fiancee Alan Thomason, 35.
Speaking to The Sun about the tragic loss, she said, “When I went to the doctor they said the [amniotic] sac wasn’t sticking right, my womb wasn’t strong enough. lost a lot of blood, it’s been really painful.”
