With Britain’s Got Talent back on our screens very soon, ITV have dropped a brand spanking new trailer for this year’s show.

The funny clip sees all the judges channel members of royalty, but it’s Amanda Holden who really shocked fans as she transformed into the Tudor monarch Queen Elizabeth I.

Dressed in a regal gown with a curly ginger wig, the mum-of-two is unrecognisable as she sits on her very own quilted thrown while clapping along to a magic trick.

The advert also features TV boss Simon Cowell dressed as a Game-Of-Thrones style medieval king while sat next to a giant husky dog – Jon Snow eat your heart out.

As three knights in armour attempt to entertain him with a dance, the stone-faced judge looks less than impressed.

The camera then cuts to a very excited David Walliams who’s dressed up in a white wig and a lot of make up as a king from the French court.

Finally, Alesha Dixon transformed into Queen Victoria for the video while a mime artist fails to make her laugh.

Quoting the famous monarch, Alesha quips: “We are not amused”, before flicking up a black lace fan with a large red cross.

And the rest of the judges also have an old-fashioned red buzzer to deliver. Well, except for David who gives out a golden button using a cauldron of leaves and confetti. Take a look for yourselves…

Unfortunately, two people missing from the exciting advert are Geordie presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Following Ant’s decision to head back to rehab following his drink drive charge last week, it’s been reported that Dec may be forced to take the stage alone.

All of BGT’s pre-recorded audition stages were filmed back in January and February this year, so we’re likely to see Ant and Dec together when the show starts again on Saturday 14th April.

But there’s no word from ITV yet on who will be charged with hosting when the live shows start in late May.
