The satisfaction of drinking a crisp, cold glass of Prosecco is pretty hard to match.

Whether you’re celebrating with friends and family or relaxing after a long week, there is nothing quite as satisfying as hearing the pop of prosecco cork.

So, when we heard a prosecco bar was coming to the UK a flutter of excitement set in!

Yes, a bar solely dedicated to our favourite Italian bubbly beverage is set to open in February 2018. The aptly named ‘Prosecco House’ will open at One Tower Bridge in London and will offer over 20 types of fizzy wine.

Those plushy chairs look like the perfect place to sip on a glass of Prosecco

The Prosecco bar will be open from 11am and glasses will start at £7.50. The fizzy wines will be sourced from five vineyards in Veneto, Italy and are specially selected by the bar’s founder Kristina Issa. There will also be prosecco based cocktails such as spritzes and bellinis. The bar’s menu will continue the Italian theme, offering platters of meats, cheese and cicchetti.

Have a boozy Christmas – there’s an alcohol advent calendar for everyone!

If you love what you try during your visit, you’ll also have the opportunity to buy bottles of the Prosecco to take away. Plus, if you live in London you’ll be delighted to hear that Prosecco House will be offering a delivery service via Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

There really is no reason to stop the bubbly party, transform your own home into a Prosecco House.

Speaking to The Spirits Business Kristina said: “The idea came to me over drinks with friends back in January.. I love Prosecco but could never find a glass of the same quality here in London compared to Italy.

“I wanted to create a bar that feels both luxurious but is also open to everyone and that all feel welcome. There is a gap in the market for a high quality bar serving the finest Prosecco that is not a hotel or a cocktail bar.”

We couldn’t agree more and cannot wait for the opening, will you be heading down?
