Drumroll please…. The most popular baby names in the UK have been revealed by the National Office of Statistics. Can you guess what they are?
Beating traditional names like Joe, Jack and John, Oliver was the most popular name for little boys. Cute, right? It’s a firm favourite, and hasn’t budged from the top spot since 2013.
For girls, it’s an old favourite. Amelia has been the most popular choice since 2011 and it’s popularity shows no signs of waning.
The Prince George effect is still going strong, with the name rising from 7th to 4th place since last year.
