The coolest floral on the high street is making a comeback and we couldn’t be happier…

When something sells out within a week of launch, you know it’s good. Dorothy Perkins’ gloomy floral dress (£45) did just that when it hit stores weeks ago. It’s coming back for a final hurrah and we’re spreading the word!

It’s the perfect blend of sporty and feminine

AW16’s high street was awash with dark and wintry floral frock in the swishiest fabrics and most bohemian of styles. Which is why this dress, with its sporty two-tone neck trim and cool midi cut stood out. Devoid of any sheer panels, floaty textures and tassels, DP’s take on the winter floral dress was like a breath of fresh air. Easily styled with heels ankle boots, sassy party shoes or trainers, we quickly started seeing the frock pop up all over Instagram and in real life.

Unfortunately for anyone not quick off the spending mark, the dress came and went in lightening speed. Within a week it was a total sell-out, meaning all we could do was sadly stare at Kate in the Woman office (she is one of the lucky few who cleverly bagged the dress before it sold out).

It’s making a one-time only comeback in December

In the best news since Black Friday became Black Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Dorothy Perkins have announced they will be bringing the dress back for a comeback! On 12th December a fresh drop of the sporty posy frock will be hitting stores and online. But it will be the last ever drop of the dress. After the 12th you will not be able to get your hands on this dress again. Unless you ask lovely Woman art design queen Kate very nicely if you can borrow hers…
