These delicious blue wonders contain more antioxidants than almost any other food! A large handful every day will help to prevent the cell-structure damage that can lead to wrinkles. And they also provide extra protection against sun exposure and emotional stress.
Omega-3 containing foods
Salmon, almonds and olive oil are packed with Omega-3, their antioxidant nutrients protect against UV-related oxidation, helping to prevent skin damage. They are also said to help control the way your body responds to UV rays.
High in vitamin C, Pomegranates increase your body’s capacity to preserve collagen – the tissue that makes skin look smooth and plump. A cup of pomegranate seeds every week will also help to guard against the wrinkling effects of sun damage.
Chard, kale, spinach and other dark leafy greens are the super heroes of clean beauty. They are full of antioxidants, which remove toxins and slow down ageing. But it doesn’t stop there, they are also one of the top sources of beta-carotene – a powerful antioxidant that helps repair and renew your skin to give it a youthful glow.
