Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced that they were having a third baby we’ve been longing for a picture of the growing baby bump.
While the royal couple finally blessed us with that on Tuesday, as they stepped out for World Mental Health Day, Catherine’s fans noticed something else a little different about her look – and it wasn’t her bump!
Fans of Kate Middleton’s makeup should pay close attention. Sharp-eyed Kate watchers noticed that the Duchess had changed her eyeliner, opting for a subtle winged flick.
From the start of this year the Duchess has moved away from wearing dark eyeliner around her eyes. Instead she has ditched the heavy circles for a simple line on her upper lashes.

Creating the perfect winged eyeliner is also easier than you might think. Michael Ashton, the celebrity makeup artist renowned for Adele’s signature look told The Cut it is all about using the right mix of products.
He explained: “Product cocktailing is key to achieving the intensity and opaqueness of the eyeliner. I always start by outlining the shape of the liner, working from the inner to outer corner of the eye with a black gel liner. I then work the product right into the root of the lashes and then build thickness gradually.”
To finish the look Michael said: “I use a waterproof liquid liner with a precision tip to intensify and refine the line, finishing by winging the end of the liner last.”
