Lush Twilight Body Spray, £20

Set to become the next cult sleep product, people are raving about Lush’s Twilight body spray. It includes a blend of lavender and tonka which will help install a sense of calm. Although it has been available in the UK for sometime, our friends in America are new to the party and it seems suddenly everyone is talking about it. Spray it on your body and perhaps a spritz or two around your room and perhaps you’ll have a better snooze!

Lush Sleepy, £7.95, 95g

This lovely new product has flown off the shelves thanks to the promise that the ‘miracle’ lotion will cure insomnia. Here are just some of the rave reviews on Reddit…

“As someone with incurable and not so common chronic illnesses which result in chronic pain and insomnia because of the pain, sleepy lotion is the one product that can actually help me through the worst of my night,” one person wrote.

“I have been using my small pot from Christmas sparingly — only when I was really stressed, or really having trouble falling asleep,” another says.

BIG shampoo, £16.95, 330g

The whole point of this shampoo is to add a bit of uuumph! The sea salt in the formula is said to boost volume, but while it certainly gave flat hair a new lease of life, the main point to make about this shampoo is that it leaves hair incredibly shiny. The combination of nourishing essential oils and course sea salt is a winner when it comes to smoothing down course and unruly hair and taming frizz. Plus, it smells incredible!

Ultrabland facial cleanser, £20, 225g

If you’re finding that a foaming cleanser is stripping your skin (we’re firm advocates of cream or oil based make-up removal!) then this is the perfect cleanser for adding in some much-needed moisture. Thanks to its super oily texture, Ultrabland wipes away all traces of dirt and make-up in a flash. Perfect for a quick cleanse after a long day. To use the cleanser, no water is needed (so don’t try it in the shower, or the beeswax will emulsify, clogging pores!) Just apply a 5p size amount to clean finger tips and massage into the skin and eye area with circular motions. Then remove with a warm flannel or cotton pads.

Full of Grace Serum Bar, £8.25, 20g

It may not be the most visually appealing product, but it’s easy application and skin-perfecting results soon make up for that. It’s greasy, but in a good way, as thirsty skin will quickly drink up the nutrients and essential oils packed into this nifty serum bar. It’s all-natural, of course, so great for problem or sensitive skin.

Ocean Salt Facial Scrub, £15.50, 250g

If you want your skin to feel squeaky clean, this is the product to buy. It’s packed with good stuff, like citrus essential oils, avocado butter and coconut oil that will nourish the skin, while the course sea salt buffs away dead cells.

Skin Drink Facial Moisturiser, £14.95, 45g

best lush products

Again, lush aren’t going to great lengths to perfume their products and distract from their brilliant ingredients, so in short, the sesame oil makes this one smell a little peculiar… But we promise, once you’ve seen the effects on your skin, you won’t care! Great for clearing any rough skin or dry spots.

Cup o’coffee, £6.95, 150g

This exfoliating face and body mask is designed to brighten and tighten the skin – and it certainly upholds its promise. Coffee has been hailed as a beauty super food for quite some time now, thanks to its exfoliating and glow-boosting effects. Roasted cocoa extract gives the product a rich coffee scent, making it the perfect product to wake you up in the morning!

The Snow Fairy scent is one of the most popular available from Lush. Sadly the shower gel is only available during the festive period but there are plenty of all year round products that use the same fragrance. The sugary-sweet pink products combine organic cocoa, mango and avocado butter infused with cherry to produce a candyfloss and fruit like smell. You can enjoy a Snow Fairy scented body conditioner, cold pressed soap, reusable bubble wand, sparkle jar, jelly bomb and naked versions of the body conditioner and shower gel.
