At a glance, looking at these beautiful, youthful looking women, you would be forgiven for mistaking them to be in their 40s, 30s or even 20s!

Their actual ages are 50, 52 and an incredible 62! Naturally, we are curious to know what their anti ageing secrets is…

Pamela Jacobs

Leeds mum Pamela is actually 52, but has often been mistaken for her 21 year old sons girlfriend… rather awkwardly for him!

Pamela, who says her mother and siblings also look younger than they really are, attributes her youthful looks to good genes, a healthy diet, lots of exercise – and plenty of coconut oil.

Get tropical!

‘I’m a big coconut oil lover, ‘ explained Pamela. ‘My mother used it on our hair and skin when we were younger and I’ve carried on. I use Biona Organic Coconut Oil for cooking, in coffee, for removing make-up, for hair treatments and on my body twice a day as a moisturiser.’

Eat well

Many of the dishes Pamela makes are Asian and spiced up with ginger, cumin and turmeric, among others, which she says act a bit like food supplements in terms of the health benefits.

Use natural products

Pamela loves Aveda’s all-natural Damage Remedy range and alternates between that and the Inviati brand to keep her hair soft. She protects her locks with Aveda’s Brilliant Hair protector and gets rid of flyaways with the help of Oribe Moisturising Cream and Moroccan Oil. To keep her skin in good shape, she uses Origins A Perfect World moisturiser which comes with SPF25 — a skincare essential according to Pamela.

Christine Brinkley

Christie has always been a mega babe, with glossy blonde locks, a three-time Sports Illustrated cover-worthy body, and a dazzling megawatt smile. Christie is an advocate of ‘you are what you eat ‘ and sticks to a strict vegan diet.

A good attitude is also very important, with Christie believing that looking after yourself and your happiness will show in your appearance.

‘First of all, I wish that women wouldn’t feel the pressure to look a certain way, said Christie. I wish that they would place the emphasis on feeling great. When you feel great you emanate a certain energy that translates as beautiful. I don’t care if you have the standard beauty or not, it’s that X-factor that comes through, and the basis of that is good health.’

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!

‘In the beginning of my career I read an article about the reason that men always look five years younger than women is because they shave, she told Elle Magazine. It said that the daily exfoliation from shaving gives them that rapid cell turnover and keeps their skin glowing and looking so great.’

Brinkley’s top beauty tip? Always protect your skin from the sun. ‘It’s the number one ager of our skin. Photoaging is the worst. It wreaks havoc,’ she said.

Make exercise a regular part of your routine

Whether its swimming once a week, a yoga class, a quick run before work or a long walk at the weekend, staying active is the simplest and most effective anti ageing tip there is. Christie herself is not one to shy away from adventurous sports. ‘During my life, I had a lot of injuries from things that were out of my control: escaped horses, fallen helicopters, overturned boats,’ she said.

And finally, the facelift that wont cost you a penny?

Smile! It instantly lifts your face and brightens the room.

Cindy Crawford

The original 80s supermodel, Cindy was the ultimate poster girl for natural beauty with her super shiny locks, naturally white teeth and glowing skin. 20 years later, she ‘s barely aged a day! We will have what she ‘s having please.

Look after yourself!

‘I was never a party girl, and I don’t smoke, and I eat right, and I exercise, and I drink water, I try to get enough sleep, which is usually easier now that my kids are older, except I have to stay up later on weekends to drive them home. True beauty is the energy you give out, and that comes through being happy.’

Make your skincare routine your number 1 priority

For my daughter, I want her to feel beautiful with and without makeup, that she can go out of the house with a clean face. That’s why it makes taking care of your skin even more important. Because when your skin looks good, you don’t feel like you have to hide behind your makeup.

Pick your poison

‘I also don’t really drink wine anymore. It makes me puffy under my eyes. Fortunately tequila does not, and my husband has an excellent tequila. So we just drink tequila. I can’t do the sugar, so I drink it on the rocks with lime and ice. I feel good and I also don’t get puffy. ‘ Shots, anyone?
