If you’ve been considering trying a vegan diet, but are worried you’ll miss pizza too much, then fear not!
Papa John’s are looking to help those with Veganuary and beyond as they launch their brand new vegan menu – and it certainly looks tasty!
The Pizza pros have added ‘Sheese’ to its nationwide menu – a tasty cheese alternative which is available on four of Papa John’s menu items, with further products in development for the future.
Perfect for those with plant-based diets, ‘Sheese’, is made by award winning brand, Bute Island, and is a great alternative.
With 2019 set to be the biggest year yet for veganism, the launch comes just in time for those looking to continue their support and follows an online petition which gained over 29,000 signatures – calling for the brand to launch vegan options to its menu.
“Papa John’s is committed to delivering better ingredients, better pizza and we’re excited to expand our menu so those with plant-based diets or dietary restrictions can enjoy it too,” said Liz Williams, managing director at Papa John’s.
“We worked closely with PETA who helped us develop the recipes and find the best vegan products, so we expect that the new additions will be a huge hit.”
The three pizzas available on Papa John’s vegan menu are: Vegan Sheese and Tomato, Garden Party with Sheese, and Hot Pepper Passion with Vegan Sheese.
Their extremely popular Marmite and Cheese Scrolls will also be available as a vegan option, ensuring there’s something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
The vegan pizza is available nationwide from today. You can order online at www.papajohns.co.uk and directly via your local Papa John’s restaurant.
