Pizza Express: The saintly Leggara pizza is only 500 calories compared to the Devilish Etna pizza at 1,153
Giraffe: 800 calories for the chicken rodeo burger doesn’t sound very healthy, so why not go for the chilli and beef burrito for 572 cals- not quite so bad!
Wagamama: Instead of picking the passion fruit cheesecake, which contains 457 calories, choose a different refreshing fruity dessert such as the raspberry mochi ice-cream which is only 193 calories!
Wetherspoons: Although the rump steak might sound appealing, it has a whopping 985 cals! Get your protein fix and cut the calories by going for something slightly lighter, like the superfood pasta with chicken, containing 661. If you’re being extra good, the superfood pasta without chicken is 471 cals!
Pizza Express: The Primo gelato banoffee is a tasty 243 calories!
Whetherspoons: The waffle with ice-cream & maple syrup is a naughty 763 calories in Whetherspoons, but if you get the delicious salted caramel cheesecake instead it’s less than half the calories at 347 cals.
Wagamama: If you’re heading out for a Japanese treat, go for the mushroom ramen at 368 cals – it’s a far better low cal ramen compared to the grilled duck version at 994 calories.
ASK: If you love the calorific Chocolate amore cake for dessert in ASK, try the Cioccolato cake instead – at just 200 calories per portion, it’s almost guilt free!
Pizza Hut: Try the Hawaiian on an Italian base at a great 160 calories per slice. Or if you’re feeling a naughty treat, go for the stuffed crust deep pan BBQ meat feast at a more calorific 249 calories per slice!
Harvester: Ever had the Chocolate Supreme at Harvester? Well it’s a whopping 929 calories per portion! Treat yourself with the Sundae Best with Belgian chocolate for dessert instead – it’s only 289 calories.
TGI Friday’s: If you’re after a tasty American treat, the Cajun-spiced Chicken Quesadilla packs a spicy kick and comes in at 260 calories. Unsurprisingly, the Monster burger comes in at 1,200.
KFC: Burgers aren’t completely off the menu if you’re trying to be good. Opt for the Grilled BBQ Ranch Burger at 395 calories. If you want something a bit more indulgent, The Big Daddy Burger is 655 calories.
Harvester: For a saintly chicken dish, opt for the Simply Chicken, which includes a flame-grilled chicken breast, jacket potato and peas at 560 calories. It’s better for you than the fried Cajun chicken with fries and BBQ dip comes in at 920 calories.
Burger King: Be good and go for the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap at 343 calories, or your naughty choice is the Angus Double Steakhouse at 964!
Frankie & Benny’s: The next time you’re eating Italiano, go for the spaghetti Bolognese from Frankie & Benny’s Lighter Option menu – a delicious pasta dish with beef ragu at 365 calories.
Subway: Pick up a 6” BLT, with a heavenly 232 calories while the 6” Steak & Bacon Melt racks up 500 calories.
Harvester: If you’re after a classic, pub grub-style burger, the Classic Chicken burger is a great choice at 445 calories, especially compared to the bacon and pineapple beef burger with bbq sauce at 829 cals.
Prezzo: If you’re thinking of tucking into a moreish pasta at Prezzo, go for the Penne ArRabbiata Light at 383. It’s still packed with chilli but the better choice than the classic version, which is 503 calories.
McDonalds: Give the McChicken Sandwich a try. At 385 calories, it’s a better calorie choice compared to the Big Tasty with Bacon, that rings in at a whopping 890!
Burger King: Be saintly and order the Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap at 296 calories or be devilish and go for the Double Whopper with cheese that’s 976 calories!
McDonalds: The saintly Filet-o-Fish is 335 calories compared to the devilish Cheese & Bacon Striker at 815!
Beefeater: For a heavenly chicken dish, order the mouth-watering paprika chicken salad, or your naughtier option is the smoked paprika chicken, which alone is 785 cals.
Nando’s: Feel good and order the saintly Peri-peri Chicken Fillet Pitta that’s only 347 calories or go devilish with the Prego Steak Roll at 623 calories.
Subway: The saintly Turkey Breast Sub comes in at only 278 calories while the devilish Chicken and Bacon Ranch Melt is 516!
KFC: Be good and order the Chicken Salad that’s only 265 calories compared to the Big Daddy burger at a huge 655 calories!
Pizza Express: Packed with lots of delicious superfoods, the Leggera Superfood Salad is a must-try at Pizza Express at 294 calories.
ASK: For an Italian dish with a saintly edge, try the Spaghetti al Pomodoro at 548 calories, that’s almost half of the amount of the Calzone con Carne Piccante, which contains 1037 calories.
Zizzi: The saintly Pomodoro pasta comes in at 664 calories, and packs a healthier punch than the Carbonara classic pasta at a huge 1454 calories!
Prezzo: If only pizza will do, the Funghi Light is your guilt-free option with a thinner base and low cal Italian dressing. It comes in at 482 calories – 400 less than the Funghi Classic with 842 calories.
