Have everything ready and sliced before you start and you’ll be cooking like a pro with this easy and tasty beef noodles stir-fry!


SERVES 4 PREP 10 mins

What you need:

250g medium egg noodles
1tsp toasted sesame oil
2tbsp vegetable oil
350g rump steak, cut into thin strips
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 red chilli, deseeded and sliced
200g Tenderstem broccoli, stalks sliced
1tsp garlic paste
4tbsp teriyaki sauce

What you need to do:

  • Cook the noodles in a pan of boiling water, following packet instructions, until tender. Drain and toss in the sesame oil.
  • At the same time heat 1tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan until hot. Add the steak strips and stir-fry over a high heat for 1 min until browned. Tip the steak onto a plate.
  • Add remaining oil to the pan with the onion, chilli and Tenderstem heads and stalks, stir-fry for 2 mins. Add 2 tbsp water, cover and cook for 2 mins.
  • Uncover, add the garlic paste and teriyaki sauce. Return the steak to the pan with the noodles, toss together and heat through for 2 mins.
