200g smoked lardons
200g whole cooked chestnuts, halved (Merchant Gourmet)
1kg Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- Fry the bacon lardons for 5 mins till crispy, add the chestnuts.
- Blanch the brussels sprouts in boiling water for 3 mins, drain and plunge into cold water, drain and cover.
- To serve, pan-fry the bacon, chestnuts and Brussels sprouts in the butter for a few mins, to warm through.
