Everyone loves these classic rice crispy treats – and they are so much cheaper than the shop-bought versions!
SERVES 12 – PREP 5 MINS – COOK 3 MINS
150g packet chewy toffees
200g packet marshmallows
200g rice krispies
1 Put the toffees into a bowl with the butter. Microwave on High for 1 min 30 seconds.
2 Add the marshmallow and microwave on High for 1 min.
3 Stir – cook for 30 secs more, if needed until melted.
4 Tip in the rice krispies and stir to combine.
5 Tip into a greased 18 x 30cm tin and smooth surface.
6 Leave to firm up and cut into 12 bars to serve.
