Who said you can’t enjoy life’s little luxuries on a budget? We used a Tesco Everyday Value prawns, tomatoes and spaghetti to save on cost without compromising on quality.
SERVES 4 – PREP 5 MINS – COOK 10 MINS
300g spaghetti
1tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
400g can chopped tomatoes
230g large prawns
200g baby spinach
1 Boil the spaghetti in salted water for 10 mins.
2 Meanwhile, fry the onion gently in oil for 5 mins. Add the tomatoes; simmer for 5 mins.
3 Drain the spaghetti, add the prawns and spinach, then stir in the tomato sauce. Season and serve.
Per serving: 326 cals, 5g fat (0.6g saturated), 57g carbs
