Victoria Beckham has denied that she will join the Spice Girls on stage at Wembley during their summer reunion tour.
The fashion designer, 45, was reportedly going to join Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton on stage to perform a ‘dance routine’ or ‘catwalk’ at their June 14thgig in London, after turning down the invitation to be apart of the 13 date tour.
Victoria previously hinted that she could make a surprise appearance on the tour after reportedly admitting that was proud of her Spice Girl status and wanted to still be part of it, ‘even if it is only for the one night’.
“It’s not been finalised exactly what she’ll be doing. Victoria doesn’t want to commit to the entire tour, but she is still very proud to be a Spice Girl,” a source told The Daily Star Sunday.
“So she wanted to be part of the tour, even if it is only for the one night.”
However, a representative for VB has denied the reports, telling MailOnline, “This is not true.”
Even though Victoria won’t appear on stage, she is still reportedly set to rake in the cash after it was claimed she will earn £3million from the 13-date tour thanks to ticket and merchandise sales.
New merchandise for the Spice Girls tour will still include a range of ‘Posh Spice’ T-shirts, despite her absence.
Their new merchandise takes inspiration from their original 90’s range, and features the logos, branding and images loved by fans worldwide.
The range includes T-shirts, hoodies and accessories, which have been personalised with the name and face of each band member, including Posh.
And even though she won’t be on stage, VB admitted she would definitely be in the audience.
“It’s gonna be the best show – I can’t wait to take my kids and see it,” she said in January during an interview on Good Morning America.
Adding, “But, with my business now I just wouldn’t be able to do it. But I wish them so much luck and love and it’s gonna be great. And in spirit, I will absolutely be there with them.”
