They can often be found bickering on the Good Morning Britain sofa, but a mind-reader thinks there’s more to Susannah Reid and Piers Morgan’s relationship than meets the eye.

The dynamic duo’s friendship took an interesting turn on Tuesday morning when a guest on the show – Lior Suchard – predicted that Susannah, 47, has a thing for Piers, 52.

With celebrity clients including Leonardo DiCaprio and Barbara Streisand, Lior – who claims to be ‘the world’s greatest mentalist’ –  prides himself on delving into a person’s deepest, darkest thoughts.

And, when asked by Piers: “Can you tell if Susanna has a thing for anyone in this room?”

He replied: “Theres a few! It’s you! She loves you very much” – much to the married star’s dismay.

Love him or hate him on the show, Piers Morgan is like Marmite. And last week he confirmed his spot on the Good Morning Britain sofa is secure for another two years.

Breaking the news via Twitter, the dad-of-four wrote: “BREAKING: Bad news for Britain, even worse news for @susannareid100…. I just signed a new deal to stay on GMB for 2 more years. #TheFoghornStays.”

And, having pulled in an extra 700,000 daily viewers since he joined in 2015, it’s no surprise Piers is allowed to rock up later to work than co-host Susannah – who he shares a “healthy rivalry” with.

He previously admitted: “I actually quit in the summer. I said, ‘I’m out,’ because I couldn’t do it anymore. Then we came to a new arrangement, which is great. I feel completely different.”

This ‘new arrangement’ means Piers gets to work at 5.30am rather than 4am, like Charlotte Hawkins and Susannah.

“I come in, I’m in make-up for three minutes, put the suit on and go,” he said. “But it’s different for women. There’s more attention paid to how they look. So Susanna, Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway come in about an hour earlier, because they know that they have to look perfect or they’re going to get a barrage of abuse. I get a barrage of abuse anyway, whether I’ve got make-up on or not!”

That’s the spirit!
