Strictly Come Dancing 2019 has confirmed their line-up of professional dancers for the new series.
Fan favourites including 2018 winner Kevin Clifton, Anton Du Beke and Oti Mabuse are all set to return to the dancefloor when the series kicks off in the autumn.
Katya Jones, who hit headlines last year after she was pictured kissing her celeb partner Seann Walsh, will also return alongside husband Neil Jones.
Fans have been campaigning for Neil to be partnered with a celebrity for the first time this series, but they will have to wait until the show returns to see if he has been promoted from group dancer to series regular.
Other male pros who have been confirmed to return include AJ Pritchard, Aljaž Škorjanec, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima and Johannes Radebe – who joined the series last year but was not paired with a celebrity.
The other female pros announced include Karen Clifton, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, 2018’s runner up Dianne Buswell and Janette Manrara.
“We are delighted that this year’s line-up of professional dancers for Strictly Come Dancing is full of familiar faces and fan favourites,” Sarah James, executive producer at BBC Studios, said of the line-up.
“This amazing cast of incredibly talented world class professional dancers have provided Strictly with some of its most memorable moments over the years and with more exciting announcements to come, plus world renowned choreographer Jason Gilkison also returning to the team, Strictly 2019 promises to continue to wow viewers with unforgettable performances as we welcome this dazzling line up of pros back to the ballroom.”
One noticeable pro missing from the line-up is Pasha Kovalev, who announced his shock departure from the series last month after eight years on the show.
He wrote on Twitter, “Thanks to the incredible partners, professionals and myriad of behind the scenes teams who all work to make Strictly the amazing production it is.”
