Stacey Solomon has revealed the sweet push present Joe Swash surprised her with.
The Loose Women star, who welcomed baby Rex two weeks early on May 23, took to Instagram to gush over the thoughtful gift from her boyfriend.
While away on her family holiday, former EastEnders actor Joe had arranged a meal cooked by her favourite chef.
Stacey shared a picture of her family around the dinner table, and wrote. “So this actually makes me cry…
“For my birthing present, Joe organised for my family to come and join us in the woods and arranged for my favourite chef @theocooks (whose recipe book I live by) to come and cook for us as a surprise.”
Stacey added, “My daddy took this picture… and the next ones.
“I moaned at him every time because of our TECH BAN, but I’m so glad he ignored me. Because I have one Polaroid of this night and it was soooo special, I am glad to have some backups to look back on and remember. Love you Joe Joe. Still crying.”
In a second post, Stacey also explained the reason for her phone detox as she reminisced over a fab few days away with the family.
“WE’RE HOME! After running away to the woods and shutting off from the world for a few days,” she wrote.
“We had the most amazing time and said NO to technology while we were there so all I have are a few Polaroid pictures of some special memories!#
“They’re terrible quality and I’ve only just realised my handwriting hasn’t changed since I took my GCSE’s because I type everything now a days.
“But I honestly love them. I love that I have physical pictures of moments during our trip!
“I wrote on them and I’m going to make a scrap book of our holiday that we can sit and look through.
“Joe Joe thank you for making these last few days so special for me and our family. I don’t say it enough but I am so in love with you it physically hurts!
“P.S I took pictures of the Polaroid pictures on top of my gardening magazine in case you’re wondering about the green back ground.”
She finished, “P.P.S it’s so hard to take a picture of a Polaroid, if you look closely you can see a reflection of my face in all of them!”
It was Rex’s first ever trip away alongside his older half-brothers, Zachary, 11, and Leighton, seven.
