Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt is apparently being lined up for a huge TV gig...
For Scarlett Moffatt, the sky is pretty much the limit.
Not only has the 27-year-old manage to dominate book charts with her bestselling novel Scarlett Says, rule the Gogglebox roost *and* try her charm at a number of successful presenting roles, but Scarlett is now being lined up for a massive new role with a hit prime time TV show….
It’s currently being rumoured that Scarlett might have a pretty big part in the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – as co-host of I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp, the ITV2 secondary show to the main ITV affair.
This would be a huge deal to Scarlett, with previous hosts including Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon.
According to a TV insider, The Sun has shared ‘Last year’s show was just a bit too chaotic for producers, so they wanted to switch things up. The current plan is to have Scarlett host the show alongside two other presenters’.
The source continues, ‘At the moment that is most likely to see Stacey [Solomon] return with her boyfriend Joe [Swash] as they were happy with them last time round’.
The source then concluded, ‘It’s a massive test for Scarlett but ITV were chuffed with her in the jungle and the job she did on Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway so think she’s well worth the punt’.
And it would appear that Scarlett might have just made a slight hint on her social media over the allegations of her new presenting gig…
The lovely lady, who was reigned Queen of the Jungle during her own stint in the Aussie outback in 2016, has taken to Instagram to share a snap of her little sister wearing her jungle crown.
Tellingly, Scarlett has captioned the snap: ‘Seeing the adverts for I’m a celeb is getting me so excited. #jungle #love’.
Whilst the rumours are entirely unconfirmed, we’ve definitely got all our fingers and toes crossed. Hope to be seeing you on our screens soon, Scarlett!
