Mel B was once a fresh-faced Spice Girl, but the star looked a far cry from those days during a recent red carpet appearance.

The 42-year-old showed off her shrinking figure in a skimpy, intricate gown – but it was her changing face that caught the eye of onlookers.

Questioning whether Mel – who is in the middle of a messy divorce with soon to be ex-husband Stephen Belafonte – has had surgery, one online user asked, ‘What has she done to her face?? Too much botox!’

Another fan also commented on her new look saying, ‘Mel looks very different, would not have recognized her.’

This isn’t the first time Mel – who was joined by her 19-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi Gulzar, on the red carpet – has been accused of altering her looks.

The America’s Got Talent judge sparked cosmetic surgery rumours last year, and Dr Munir Somij – a Chief Medical Officer at Dr MediSpa – said, ‘In the forehead it would seem that she has had Botox to lift the brow as well as around the eyes to open them up which gives a less tired-looking appearance.

‘She also appears to have had cheek fillers to lift the smile lines.’

This comes at the same time as fans have said that Mel looks noticeably slimmer at the moment.

After pictures of Mel attending the recent America’s Got Talent auditions emerged, fans flocked to social media.

One said, ‘Mel B is no longer my body crush. She’s gone skinny.’

Whilst another added, ‘she doesn’t even look like the same person anymore.’

The mum-of-three has previously lifted the lid on how she’s transformed her body in the past.

Writing on her Instagram account in 2016 after shedding a whopping 30IB she wrote, ‘I’ve worked soooo hard for this body, trust me, it didn’t come easy.’

‘It takes a lot of dedication, control, discipline and willpower cos it isn’t fun being the only girl at the party not drinking, and the only one waking up at the crack of dawn to workout so that you still get to do the school run.’
