The pair are believed to be ready for their first official public appearance.
Following Harry’s confirmation of his romance with actress Meghan Markle last year, insiders close to the Royal Family are speculating that the pair are about to make their very first public appearance together… and we couldn’t be more excited.
The pair confirmed their romance last year, after Prince Harry was forced to hit out at the amount of scrutiny his rumoured beau was receiving from the press.
And it would appear that the couple are ready to take their romance one step further into the public eye as they prepare for their first royal appearance later this month.
According to The Mail on Sunday, Prince Harry and Meghan will be attending the Invictus Games on 23 September in Toronto, Canada – an event which is founded by Harry, in which injured and disabled service personnel are able to compete.
The report alleges that Suits actress Meghan will already be in the city of Toronto during the time of the Invictus Games, as she will be filming for the upcoming series of the show. The couple are said to have first met when Harry was launching the Invictus Games in 2016, so it’s the perfect place for them to publicly confirm their status as a couple.
According to the report, Meghan has already met Prince Harry’s father Prince Charles. The source shares, “Harry’s father is just keen for him to settle down and be happy”.
Mediating on Prince Harry’s relationship, the source then adds that “both Charles and Camilla are understood to have held back from expressing views, keen that Harry should have his own space to make his own decision”.
It is understood that Prince Harry and Meghan have been delaying their first royal engagement together due to the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death this summer.
We wonder if this is the month the couple finally make an appearance!
