After teasing a solo project for months, now Louise Redknapp has revealed the details of her brand new single.
The Strictly Come Dancing star released her last single ‘Pandora’s kiss’ more than 16 years ago, but she’s finally back with latest track ‘Stretch’ which will get it’s first play tomorrow morning.
The singer – who divorced ex Jamie Redknapp last year – decided to ditch her surname to promote album ‘Heavy Love’, instead taking inspiration from Cheryl and going by ‘Louise’ only.
Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, the 44-year-old shared an image of the artwork for her music where she can be seen posing in her underwear as she donned a black lace bra under a leather jacket.
Alongside the photo, the mum-of-two wrote, “So… after 16 years away from music I am so excited to reveal details of my new album ‘Heavy Love’, which you can pre-order now (link in bio).
“The exclusive first play of the first song from the album ‘Stretch’ is on Radio2 Breakfast show tomorrow morning after 8am. I can’t wait to share this new music with you all! Thanks for all the support over the last 26 years! It’s good to be back! Love Lou xxx”
Fans couldn’t wait to comment on the snap, as one wrote, “This is INCREDIBLE news @louiseredknapp! Pre-order sorted. Now, can’t wait to hear the new single #Stretch #HeavyLove 😍”
“So excited for you sending much love your way xoxo,” said another, while BFF Emma Bunton added, “Gorgeous!!! ❤️”
And Keith Lemon added, “Looking forward to Friday!”
Meanwhile, the ‘2 Faced’ hitmaker recently signed a record deal with Warner Music UK and has also teamed up with the likes of Clean Bandit and RAYE on the new records.
The comeback track ‘Switch’ reportedly hears ex Eternal singer Louise – who shares sons Charlie, 14, and Beau, 10, with ex Jamie – belt out lyrics such as, “If you’re gonna move for me, then up your rhythm.
“You’ve got my curiosity, now show me heaven. Can you keep it up for me?
“Keep me sweating, obsessing, regressing, I want to see you stretch.”
We can’t WAIT to hear the whole thing.
