She’s known for her luscious brunette locks, but Loose Women’s Christine Lampard decided to for a change on Wednesday’s episode of the ITV chat show.
The 39-year-old shocked viewers as she stepped over to the bright side and sported a new blonde do’.
And while there’s no denying she looks stunning with her natural hair colour, we’d be lying if we said she didn’t look great as a blonde!
But not all fans were for Christine’s transformation, as she shared a photo to her Instagram.
Sitting in a salon chair, she told her 260k followers: “Going to check out whether blondes really do have more fun! @loosewomen 😆😘💇♀️ (ps…sorry Katie in the background, she’s actually very happy😀)”
Within seconds, Christine’s followers rushed to comment on the photo, with many complimenting the TV presenter on her ‘amazing’ look.
“Looking great – not fair you look amazing blonde or brunette 👩🏼👩🏻” one fan said.
“@christinelampard you look very glamorous – the blonde honestly does suit you very much,” another said.
“I watched the show and thought you looked stunning! @christinelampard” a third added.
However, others weren’t keen, preferring her everyday look instead.
“Much prettier with your dark locks, gorgeous girl,’ one insisted.
“I thought this was Caitlyn Jenner at first glimpse. I think she had better stick to the brunette,”another added.
“OMG go back to your own colour,’ one commanded.
But luckily (for some), Christine’s blonde locks won’t be here to stay, as the TV presenter was actually wearing a wig as part of the panel’s experiment to see if altering hair colour can affect personality.
The episode also saw fellow panelists Linda Robson, Stacey Solomon, and Janet Street-Porter take part, as they switched up their current hair colours for the day, and sported brunette wigs.
Their hair transformations come after This Morning host Holly Willoughby surprised fans with a photo of herself as a brunette. The presenter was sharing one of her first headshot photos taken back in the day, in honour of the recent trend started by Hollywood stars.
