- Royal fans went wild on social media when the Duchess of Sussex bared her legs in a pair of shorts at the King’s Cup charity yachting regatta last week.
- This was one of the few times Kate has been publicly spotted wearing shorts since a roller disco in 2008.
- A royal insider has revealed the details of her diligent exercise routine that is likely to thank for her toned pins.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, wowed fans when she headed out for the charity yachting regatta in Cowes sporting an item of clothing she rarely wears in public.
The 37-year-old mum-of-three showed a glimpse of her toned legs in a pair of navy blue shorts teamed with a pair of grey trainers and a sporty jersey as she went head to head with her husband, Prince William, at the King’s cup event last week.
Kate is not often a short wearer and one of the few times Kate has been spotted donning such a leg baring outfit in public was eleven years ago when she showcased her pins in some bright yellow hot pants as she skated around at a roller disco party in London, three years before her marriage to the Duke of Cambridge.
Taking to Twitter, hordes of royal fans gushed over the Duchess’ sea legs.
One penned, “Huge fan of the wonderful Kate, those legs are killers,” while a second chipped in, “Damn Kate Middleton’s legs!”
Now, a royal insider has revealed the exercise Kate and her younger sister Pippa, 35, do to keep their figures, legs included, in tip top shape.
Speaking to the Daily Mail the source said, “Kate is an exercise junkie. Pippa and Kate take their toned physiques extremely seriously. And mother Carole, in her 60s, is in extremely good shape.
“They worked hard in the gym at Kensington Palace, starting with cardio warm-ups, hip raises, diagonal and reverse lunges, stomach crunches, squats, calf raises, bridges and push-ups.”
