The two TV chefs Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay have had a famous, long-standing feud. But it seems that things between the two have turned bitter with this latest jibe…
The famously fiesty pair have aimed fierce remarks back and forth at one another for years now.
However, the latest row between the pair seems to have really hit a nerve – with Gordon even calling for Jamie to apologise to him and his wife for the comment.
The latest feud…
In an interview with the Radio Times, Gordon slammed a seemingly innocent comment made by his rival chef.
He explained: “Jamie turned round and said, ‘I’ve got five kids, he’s got four kids.’ To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have, that’s….,”
“Boys will always fight and butt heads but Tana was mortified. I mean really mortified.”

Gordon’s wife Tana recently suffered a miscarriage when five months pregnant- and so the comment has understandably touched a nerve.
Jamie spoke to The Sun back in August, and confessed he didn’t want to war with Gordon, as they’ve both got families – hence the comment.

Jamie has also welcomed a son recently, River, with wife Jools. So of course, the words have hit hard for the grieving Ramsay family.
The long-standing feud…
Things between Jamie and Gordon started off civilly enough. In fact, the pair were even pictured at an event together, in the early days of Jamie’s career.
However, sly comments and subtle remarks made through the years – by both chefs – have meant that a long-running tension has developed between the two.
Just recently, Gordon hosted the now-defunct Nightly Show, during which he slammed his cooking rival, calling him “fat” and criticising his cooking.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, Jamie admitted he now to let the comments go.
He said, “All my friends and people I work with in TV were very p***** off for me.
“But it’s a bit like going to see someone you love who has dementia who keeps forgetting, and then doesn’t remember what they’ve said.
“It doesn’t bother me anymore. But it was a lot. He hasn’t texted to apologise, I don’t know if he does emotion like that.”
Gordon then offered a mock apology to Jamie for his words.
So far, Jamie hasn’t offered a comment on the latest accusation. But it seems this war of words between the two chefs is set to continue…
