Davina, who shares her brood of Holly, 17, Tilly, 15, and 12-year-old son Chester with 50-year-old Matthew, announced she was single again in December of 2017 – following a 17-year marriage.

At the time of the split, the much-loved presenter melted the hearts of her fans after choosing to remain refreshingly transparent about feelings of “loneliness”.

Sharing a video on Instagram during the Christmas following her split, Davina reached out to anyone struggling with feelings of being alone – admitting that she was struggling with her new single status during the festive period.

“I want to say happy Christmas to anyone who is feeling a bit lonely. I think it’s one of those days isn’t it?,” Davina shared.

“Sometimes even when you’re in a really huge group of people it’s possible to feel lonely or if you’ve lost somebody that you really care about and this is your first Christmas without them or if you couldn’t get home to your family.”
