Coleen Rooney appears to have put her husband Wayne’s recent dramas behind her as she pays tribute to him as they celebrate 10 years of marriage together.
The 32-year-old WAG, who is mum to sons Kai, eight, Klay, five, Kit, two and three-month-old Cass, recently enjoyed a family holiday to Barbados and today marks their 10th wedding anniversary.
Coleen uploaded a montage of throwback snaps of her and her Everton footballer husband to her social media, with the caption, “Today we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!!! Time goes so quick…. so many great times together to remember.’
The snaps include one from their wedding day and many from holidays spent together. The pair, who married in 2008, haven’t had an easy marriage lately, with Wayne at the centre of a drink drive shame after he was pulled over by police in September last year, driving a black VW Beetle belonging to Laura Simpson, while his pregnant wife at the time Coleen, was away.
Wayne admitted his mistakes at the time, he said, “Sometimes you make mistakes. I held my hands up. I made a mistake. I knew straight away I had made a stupid mistake and I have to move on. It is not nice. I’ve got children and it is not nice for them to see that and I try to move on and learn from it which I feel I am doing.”
One fan was delighted the couple are still working at their marriage, she wrote, “Happy anniversary to you guys . Am so happy to u fought for this marriage . You are a strong woman . Much respect gal,” another put, “Congratulations beautiful photos” and a third said, “Happy Anniversary @coleen_rooney!!! We have been following and admiring you way back before you even wed. And we’re so happy that you’re still strong and forever together! Keep on smiling!!!”
