Mum to be Christine should be on cloud nine as she counts down the days until she welcomes her first baby with husband Frank.
But insiders close to the star tell Woman that after a tough few weeks, in which Christine, 39, had to go to court over her stalker case, she’s now worried about their future as new parents.
Our source tells us, “Frank is now a manager of Derby County football club, and Christine is concerned it will inevitably mean more time spent apart.
“Her mum and support network are all in Ireland, so she worries she’ll feel lonely once the baby is here.
“Christine is making the most of being able to work while she can.”
Christine will welcome her first baby with her husband of two years later this year.
The duo announced the news last month, as Frank – who is already a dad to Luna and Isla with his former fiance Elen Rivas – shared a family photo on Instagram.
He said: “The Lampard family is growing! My gorgeous wife @Christinelampard is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier.”
The news came just three months after Christine confessed she’d still love to have children with Frank, despite revealing the pair had no plans to start IVF – something many assumed of them, due to their ages.
Christine already plays step mum to Frank’s two young girls.
Giving an insight into her relationship with Frank’s two daughters, Christine revealed Isla had her in tears after saying she “loved” having the Loose Women star as a step-mum.
Christine confessed, “She went on to say ‘I love you being my stepmum’ and so I started to cry. I’m proud I have that kind of relationship with them.”
Wishing you and Frank all the best, Christine…
