Chloe Madeley and England rugby player James Haskell recently revealed that they had got married in a small church in Berkshire. And judging by the adorable photos, it was amazing…

But while Chloe’s famous dad Richard Madeley, 62, was there to walk her down the aisle, it turns out the telly presenter almost ruined her big day.

Sitting down to chat with Lorraine about her wedding, 31-year-old Chloe confessed, “We had a moment in the hotel room before we left but in the car I was watching the Sat Nav time go down and down and we were getting closer and closer to the church.

“I was getting really nervous and he started taking about Brexit and I was like, ‘I’m trying to take my mind off it but you’re making me more angry!’”

Despite the blip, Chloe went on to describe her day “chocolate box perfect”.

She continued, “I would have upped the Christmas theme if I could have! It was incredible, we couldn’t do the big big wedding for a while because there was so much happening, but James proposed and we really wanted to get married.

“He’s quite traditional and he wanted to do it in a church and we just thought Christmas is the most magical time to do it and it just was.”

Chloe and her rugby player beau, 33, tied the knot on December 15, and they were joined by Richard and his wife Judy Finnigan, 70.

Although the fitness fanatic went on to admit she’s desperate for another celebration in 2020 after the Rugby World Cup, confessing, “Everyone’s saying you can’t wear the dress again and I said I will.”

And it looks like all this talk of weddings has made Chloe broody as she later told Lorraine, “Now with all my nieces and nephews I kind of have baby fever.

“I’ve worked for seven years as a blogger and personal trainer, my career is like my baby… I do thank my nieces and nephews that I am starting to consider children.

“It’s a really interesting time now. I think it could be completely subconscious.”
