Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed she'll miss her two daughters as they return to school today.
She led a whole host of celebs whose hearts were breaking as they sent their kids back to school after the summer holidays.
Sharing a snap of her two daughter Lexi, 12, and Holly, six, on Twitter, Amanda wrote, “BackToSchool2018 going to miss our girls ( till 3:30!)”. She also posted the adorable photo on Instagram.
Amanda, 47, has spent lots of quality time with her girls over the summer, whisking them away on holidays to LA – where they celebrated Simon Cowell’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – and Corsica.
So it’s no surprise she’s feeling gutted to pack them both back off to school.
And, she’s not the only one. Yesterday, This Morning’s Holly Willoughby gave fans an insight into her home life when she shared a snap of two packed bags and two pairs of new school shoes.
She captioned the shot: “Hands up if your front door looks like this.”
It comes after Holly, 37, confirmed she’d be taking her three children – Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, three, with her to Australia when she steps in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here later this year.
After it was announced that she’d co-host the show with Declan Donnelly, the mum-of-three was criticised for potentially leaving her children in the UK. She has since cleared up these rumours.
“When I first found out, it’s obviously bitter sweet, but it was exciting,” she admitted.
“You try and work out when you’ll go and how long for. The kids are coming with me so I’ve been speaking with the school seeing how that’s all going to work. Dan’s coming with me.”
We can’t wait!
