Their ‘beautiful friendship’ has long been speculated over, and now Seal is heading back Down Under to reportedly woo Delta Goodrem again.

The Voice Australia coach, Seal, set tongues wagging when he revealed he would be making a trip back Down Under to ‘reconnect with some friends’ – months after denying he was romantically linked to fellow judge and close friend Delta Goodrem.

Confirming that he was heading to Delta’s favourite place – Byron – the 55-year-old revealed: “I’m about to go on tour around Australia with an orchestra, and I will play a special set at Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Byron ♥️

“I have never been to Byron Bay or Bluesfest and I hear it’s quite the place. I’m excited to reconnect with some friends in the industry and perform at the festival.”

His words come just weeks after an insider claimed Seal was keen to “rekindle his flame” with Delta, despite the fact she has a boyfriend, Matthew Copley.

“Seal has really missed Delta and realised that he let someone very special slip through his fingers,” the source said.

“So he’s using this trip as his chance to hopefully see Delta again and tell her how he feels.”

The pair – who have been pals for years – grew even closer whilst presenting The Voice Australia last year, leaving Seal in “awe” of Delta, 33.

Speaking of his “deep affection” for the singer, Seal said: “Needless to say she is incredibly talented and her work ethic and her understanding of her craft is incredible and I sit there in awe, sometimes, watching her work.”

Romance rumours hit new heights when a contestant on the show tried to give Delta a rose, but was intercepted by Seal. She joked: “Oh Seal, don’t be jealous.” Ooooh!

When he was previously quizzed on their special friendship, Seal – who used to be married to Heidi Klum – confessed: “I love Delta as a person, but it goes beyond that. I have an incredible amount of respect for her and I know how hard she works.”

But, for all their public display’s of adoration for one another, Delta insisted their friendship is purely platonic.

She said: “Seal is an incredibly wise, insightful, kind, wouldn’t hurt a fly and is loving and wonderful.

“It’s real friendship and we have always had that mutual respect and that’s what is beautiful — that we’re long-term people who will always care about friends.”
