And, of course, the 47-year-old wasted no time dishing all the details of the romantic proposal to her Loose Women pals when she appeared on the panel show the next day.

Gushing about the picture perfect Parisian proposal Andrea revealed, “We went on this little driving holiday. We had a window of kid free time so we got on the Eurostar and headed onto France.”

However, the mum-of-two revealed that her hormones and mood almost ruined Nick’s proposal plan!

“I was a tiny bit menopausal, should I say. A tiny bit ratty. Nick was a saint. We got to Paris, and we’ve been together for three years now, but before we put a jokey padlock and we said, “Let’s go back and see it,” but they’ve taken them all off.”

‘He gave me a hug, like the weather and the padlock was all his fault and then he was like, “It’s still our bridge. We’ll reclaim it. Let’s take a selfie.”

‘He got the phone out and then took the ring out and held it up and said, “Will you marry me?” and pressed click to take the picture.

What a day it's been… thank you for your amazing response to our news, we are overwhelmed 💋❤️#weloveyou #tiredandemotional #thankyou #love @lordfeeney

This will be Andrea’s third marriage. The Loose Women star was previously married for five years to her childhood sweetheart Nick Green. However, the pair split in 2005 after Nick discovered that Andrea was having an affair with builder Steve. She eventually went on to marry Steve, but the couple announced their separation in 2012 after Andrea admitted that she had “fought with every ounce of my being” to save the marriage before realising that she and Steve had, “grown apart”

“We both knew it. We’d tried so many times to make it work, but it was hopeless.”

The star is mum to two kids – Finlay, 15 and Amy, 10.

Speaking exclusively to Woman magazine, the top TV anchorwoman revealed that her two kids from her previous relationships were keen to see their mum happily married and settled once again with Nick, 44.

I’m an eternal romantic.”

After the break-down of her second marriage, the former GMTV weather girl admitted that she was absolutely “heartbroken”.

“‘After both my marriages failed I’d really given up on love. I thought I was going to be alone and I’d accepted it” Andrea confessed to Woman.

But, the Glasgow-born TV star found that she was ready to love again when she met Nick after being set up with him on a blind date by a friend.

“We’ve been together three years and it just feels right.”

Talking about her relationship with Nick exclusively to Woman magazine, “Nick’s a really nice guy: he’s great fun, a good dancer and he’s gorgeous! I feel so lucky to have found him.”

Although no more details about their marriage plans have been revealed, it’s so clear that Andrea couldn’t be happier in her relationship, and is now looking forward to a loved-up future. “We’ve been together three years and it just feels right.”
