Amanda Holden took some time off her busy schedule to create some amazing memories with her nan.
The 47-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge took to the water with her family for a special trip to look for dolphins off the coast of Cornwall. And the pair appeared to be enjoying themselves as Amanda Holden shared their adventures with fans on social media.
Amanda uploaded snaps of the day out on the sea with Wavehunters UK with nan sat in the passenger seat of the speedboat as they sped off to spot the marine life.
Amanda then cosied up to her 97-year-old nan for a photo in which you can see the pair wearing lifejackets and sunglasses and Amanda added a love heart drawing above their heads.
The dolphin watching excursion is the latest leg of their family holiday. Amanda arrived in Cornwall earlier this week, she uploaded a photograph sat in the sun holding a glass of gin with her nan and captioned it, ‘arrived in #cornwall today. Having a little #holiday with the #oldest #princess in the #family #mynan and the youngest #HRH’
Amanda’s BGT colleague David Walliams couldn’t resist a jibe at the star, by commenting, ‘At last you have met someone your own age’.
The trip involved taking it in turns to push nan in her wheelchair, with even the kids having a go before enjoying an ice cream on the sea shore.
Amanda subtly told fans that she had paid for the trip herself when she wrote, ‘#happytobigupbritbiz #boughtandpaidfor’ to stamp out any speculation over whether the trip had been given for free.
The trip was a success as the family all saw dolphins swimming beside their boat. Amanda uploaded a video of the up close sightings and captioned it ‘#Omg #omg #omg how #lucky is this?!’
And it looks like Amanda will get time to spend more time with her beloved nan as Amanda revealed in her latest post that her nan would be moving in with her parents. She summed up her trip saying, ‘#hrh and I just had a #wonderful few days here with #bignanny before she moves in with my #parents – if you’re ever down this way #Cornwall #Rock I highly recommend this gorgeous place.’ and clarified again that she had paid for the accommodation.
