Is there drama between Simon Cowell's two favourite X Factor ladies?

Filming for the new season of The X Factor is underway, with a brand new panel of judges – and a whole new bout of on-show drama!

The current judging panel boasts a line-up of Simon, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne – but there’s a infamous past X Factor judge who may also be set to make an appearance.

Rumour has it that new mum Cheryl has plans to make a guest appearance on the show – alongside music mogul Simon during the ‘Judges’ Houses’ round of the competition.

During the later stages of the auditions, X Factor hopefuls are whisked off to a number of destinations over the globe in order to perform at their designated judge’s home – with the guidance of another A-List face.

In the past, Simon has invited his ex-partner and long-term friend Sinitta along to help him pick the next big superstar. However, it is now being alleged that Cheryl might take Sinitta’s place this year alongside Si… something the 53-year-old is not happy about!

Speaking with The Sun regarding the rumours, Sinitta shared: “You can’t look like that, have hair like that, have Liam, have the perfect baby, the perfect body, the perfect face, be a pop star, be drop-dead gorgeous and take Judges’ Houses.”

She then adds: “She needs to stay in her lane a little bit. I love you Chez but don’t even go there – not that I’m bothered.”

Sinitta then explained that she’s had her suspicions about Simon’s plans for the show, sharing: “I thought I was coming back but now I’ve heard Cheryl is coming back. Simon has been a bit quiet – on text messages and Whatsapp.”

Sinitta then joked: “Well let’s put it this way – has Cheryl ever done Simon’s judges’ houses? Would it be appropriate? Would she wear leaves? It’s like I’m defending my job. Not that my face doesn’t look better.”

Only time will tell if Sinitta will be able to dust off her leaves for another year running…
