In an incredibly iconic moment in TV history from 2016, both Holly Willoughby and her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield stepped out onto national TV fresh from partying the night away after the NTA’s.

Still in their clothes from the night before, the duo looked slightly worse for wear – having confessed to skipping their eight hours that night in favour of celebrations, having won a gong at the awards.

Whilst the fiasco made absolute TV gold, Holly has now vowed to never show up to a presenting gig after drinking again – and has even remarked that she still doesn’t know how they got away with it.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the 37-year-old mother of three had been discussing her latest business venture – a healthy lifestyle brand called Truly.

However, GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan soon swerved the conversation away from the matter at hand and onto Holly’s tipsy escapades.

After asking if the Truly lifestyle considers a tipple or two, Holly confessed that no matter how iconic her post-NTA appearance on This Morning is, she’ll never do it again.

Holly explains, “You only get away with doing that once, and we did it once and it will never be repeated again. I don’t know how we got away with it at the time.”

However, after Piers and Susanna then remarked that “celebrations should be marked”, Holly responded: “It’s good to mark those occasions. You win an NTA, that’s big.”

Holly also revealed that her vow to never appear on TV after a tipple again has been supported by the This Morning production team – as, despite the massive popularity of that particular show, they sadly haven’t encouraged the pair to recreate the magic.

Previously, Phil had spoken about his outrageous morning after the NTA’s – sharing that the pair were genuinely having the best time.

Speaking with This Morning co-host Rylan Clark-Neal, Phil explained: “There were lots of pictures in the press that were taken in the studio, of us screaming with laughter. They were taken about a minute, thirty seconds, before we went on air.”

He then added, “We both looked at each other and said: ‘We shouldn’t be doing this.’.”

Perhaps another NTA is in order for Holly and Phil?!
