The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out looking as stylish as ever yesterday on a trip to the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre.
The royal sported a sleek and sophisticated look, in an elegant white Goat coat and black tights.
Kate also donned a pair of gorgeous black, knee-high boots – a totally on-trend option for the winter season.
Being the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine chose a sophisticated designer for the heeled boots. She snapped up the pair from high-end high-street store Russell and Bromley, who are famed for their fancy foot-wear.
Our Kate is such a fan of the retailer that she often wears their luxury shoes. In fact, her £425 Russell and Bromley wedges have become somewhat of a staple in her wardrobe.
But on this occasion, the Duchess opted for a slightly warmer pair of the designer’s shoes, their knee-high boots. And they could well be yours to snap up, for £455.
However, if that’s a little more than you’re willing to pay for boots, never fear.
The high-street actually offers some gorgeous dupes of the stretchy black boots, that cost a fraction of the price.
Affordable versions of Kate’s boots
Marks & Spencer are one retailer offering an accurate look-alike of Kate’s covetable boots, for just £55. The heel is small, much like Catherine’s pair, and the boots also have a fun tassel on the back to keep the look playful.
The boots are sold as knee-high, but if you’re tall, these should come to similar height to the Duchess’.
ASOS also has a pair of similar knee-high boots which are available at £45. A steal, in comparison to Kate’s £455 pair!
These skintight boots make for the perfect winter dressing option. Pull them over a pair of jeans to turn a casual look stylish. Or, dress them up over tights and a dress, as Kate has done.
However you chose to wear them, you can guarantee they’ll keep you warm all winter long.
