Several daytime TV stars have been looking pretty spectacular recently and we think this has a lot to do with stylist Angie Smith.
She is the woman behind Holly Willoughby’s sensational look at the Glamour Awards (who can forget that pink Raquel Balencia gown)! Angie also dresses the like of Christine Lampard, Frankie Bridge and Amanda Holden and shares all the details on her Instagram page @angiesmithstyle.

Whether she’s dressing the stars for their stint presenting our favourite shows, or getting them ready for red carpet events, Angie knows how to put together flattering, on-trend outfits. She’s also great at finding fab high-street style buys – which we love!
You can go out and shop many of the items that you see the stars in for yourself, and, it won’t break the bank! Angie regularly dresses her clients in the likes of Next, Warehouse, Whistles, Oasis, M&S and so many other great affordable brands.
Here are our top five favourite fashion brands at the moment as styled by Angie Smith – and worn by the stars…
Brands loved by Angie Smith
Angie loves to dress her clients in a shirt by Winser. Whether it is Davina McCall, Christine Lampard or Holly Willoughby they’ve all rocked one.
At £150 it is quite pricey but when it is such good quality you can’t complain. It’s more of an investment piece and is best kept for occasions you want to make a real impression. It comes in three colours: ivory, khaki or warm blush.
They also do great dresses and we loved this colour block one Angie styled on Holly. Have a browse on their website and you are sure to find at least one thing that you fall in love with.
It’s a brand loved by the Duchess of Cambridge and a fail-safe when it comes to offering clothes which are great quality and fashionable – but won’t break the bank. Angie loved this dress on Holly so much, she styled her in both available colours!
Holly first wore the blue polka dot print dress in May before sporting the black version June.
Although this exact dress is no longer available, L.K Bennett do have this navy cotton printed dress with long sleeves which makes for a fab fashionable alternative:
It is perfect for when the weather is a little unpredictable and the small circular print is both elegant and flattering. Buy it now from the L.K Bennett website for £125.
This brand is relatively new and was created by two generations of one family, Helen and Joanna Nicola. They aim to combine femininity with functionality – and we cannot get enough!
It has been worn by Holly Willoughby and Christine Lampard, with both stars loving the style so much they wore the same item in different colours!
Angie dressed Holly in the blue Betsy midi skirt at the start of July but Christine rocked it in green for her first day presenting Lorraine.
If you want to get in on the action you can still buy the skirt from the Related website. It costs £155 and comes in two colour options, khaki or blue. Also available is a matching crop top or a mini skirt in the same pattern.
Personally we love the white shirt combination and think it is a great option for in the office or paired with a hat it would be a great wedding guest outfit option. As you can see, Christine’s shirt is from Winser which we mentioned above.
This brand is pretty high on Angie’s go to list. We love when she dressed Holly in this “club Tropicana dream of a top”. It was the perfect outfit to combat a particularly grey day in London!
Sadly the Hilcot Amazon Nouveau ruffle shirt is now sold out but you can join the waiting list. It costs £59 and Finery promise that it will be back in a few weeks time.
Holly’s Ascot dress that had everyone talking was also from Finery but they also do some great casual options. We love this pink jumper with tie lace detail on the back which launched as part of the new collection.
At £55 it is a great staple item that will keep you looking chic even when you want to dress down.
If you haven’t popped into you local Warehouse or browsed online without buying something, you haven’t been seeing what we have! Designer Emma Cook has been a vital part in the brand’s reinvention as well as brand consultant Alasdhair Willis who is married to Stella McCartney.
Together they have created countless flattering, fashionable and affordable pieces which the likes of Susanna Reid have wowed in.
This flippy dress was a bargain at £39 and was also worn by Susanna Reid but in pink. The pink is now on sale and only costs £25 so there is no excuse not to invest!
So whether it is statement blouses or simple shift dresses, we love what they have been doing and Angie smith does too!
Keep an eye out Angie’s Instagram page to see what other brands she opts for but we are always ready to keep you updated so don’t worry if you miss it!
