It's guaranteed to be an instant sell-out...

If there’s one thing we love, it’s the chance to look like our fave celebs on a budget.

And that’s now become easier than ever, as supermodel Heidi Klum has announced an exciting fashion collab with none other than budget store Lidl – and it hit stores across the UK today!

The exotic-sounding Esmara Heidi Klum line was showcased on the catwalks at New York Fashion Week last week, and features simple neutral pieces, including camisole tops, bright blue skirts, and suede jackets – all similar to the supermodel’s own style. The range will also include dresses, trousers and kaftans.

Heidi’s predicting that her suede biker jacket, priced at £44.99, will be the sell-out piece from the collection, popular with shoppers thanks to its versatility. The jacket comes in two colourways, black and brown.

But for Heidi, the star buy is a statement leopard print jacket, which according to the supermodel has the “wow factor”.

Of course, the collab collection is brilliantly cheap, with prices starting at just £4.99. Lidl says that Heidi has ‘carefully designed a high-end yet affordable fashion collection on for Lidl, making the range ‘accessible for everyone’.

In a statement, Heidi said: “Lidl is known for making quality products at affordable prices and I’m proud to partner with them on this fashion collaboration. I hope you love it as much as I do!”

Currently, Heidi has her own signature clothing line, with items selling from around £350. She also has her own lingerie range, Heidi Klum Intimates. And the bras, for example, are sold for around £50.

So this will be Heidi’s first foray into budget fashion. But if her own wardrobe is anything to go by, we’re sure this will be a sell-out success!

Other celeb/high-street collabs…

But obviously, Heidi isn’t the first A-list celeb to lend her hand to a budget clothing range with a big retailer. Karl Lagerfeld’s collaboration with H&M was one of the biggest fashion successes of the last decade. And who could forget Beyonce’s successful activewear range with Topshop?

Victoria Beckham has recently brought out a sell-out range with cut-price American retailer Target. And Twiggy’s ranges with M&S are consistently snapped up by eager customers.

So when can you get your hands on the range? It’s due to be come out cross 650 UK shops later this year. However, an exact date is yet unknown.

We’ve already made room in our diaries. It’s guaranteed to draw queues around the block after all…
