Leopard spots will always be a good style staple. The classic print works with a wide variety of looks and can be dressed up or down. For instance, throw a fierce leopard coat on over a LBD and heels for a super chic evening look. Or layer your animal fur with a denim jacket, over a tee, skinny trousers and trainers at the weekend.

Choosing a fur in a fur, unconventional shade is a great way to inject your winter wardrobe with colour. We love Fearne Cotton’s dusty pink jacket and they way she has downplayed the glamour of the fur with a rock tee and jeans.

If you’re a petite type who is worried about feeling swamped in a big fluffy fur, try a cute boxy cropped style instead. Curvy bodies look fab in tailored coats, trimmed with the fluffiest fun fur. If you’re really keen to do a full-on fur coat, look for one with short hairs over a mega monster fur. They’ll add less bulk but still allow you to work the trend.
