Whoever said good things come in small packages must have been a fan of MAC.

The makeup company, known for their high quality and matching prices, have launched a range of signature pieces – all in miniature.

How much are they?

Each Little MAC piece costs just £12. And any MAC addict will know this is a bargain.

The staple lipstick Velvet Teddy, matte deep-tone beige, usually retails for £17.50. In its miniature format, it is a fraction of the price.

What’s on offer?

There are ten lipsticks available in the miniature format: Velvet Teddy, Mehr, Whirl. Chili, Sin, Diva, Russian Red, Twig, D for Danger and Ruby Woo.

These can be paired up with a range of lip glosses (or, if you’re fluent in MAC speak, lipglasses): Oh Baby, C-Thru, Love Child, Prrr, Spite. Nymphette, Oyster Girl and Candy Box.

Highlight your face with a 30ml bottle of Strobe Cream. Or indulge in a pigment – a shimmery powder that makes your skin glow – which comes in a variety of shades: Vanilla, Tan, Melon, Naked, Rose, Blue Brown, Kitschmas and Copper Sparkle.

To make your eyes sparkle, MAC have released a miniature False Lashes Mascara and, for a more dramatic look, False Lashes Extreme Black.

Even the bestselling Prep + Prime Fix is on offer. Usually, the pearly formula contains 100ml, but the Little M-A-C edition is 30ml – so it won’t be confiscated when you walk through airport security. Plus, the original costs £19 and its new size is just £12. A

After treating your face to this impromptu makeover, you’ll need to invest in some make-up remover. Luckily, Demi Wipes are also on sale – and you can buy 30 sheets for just £12. Perfect for a weekend away.

Where can you get them from?

The range launched on 8 February, exclusively at Debenhams and the MAC website. Since 15 March, it has now spread to all MAC stores and lookfantastic.com.

The hype

Even before its launch, the Little M-A-C range caused quite a storm on Instagram. MAC senior artist, Dominic Skinner, teased his followers with a photo of the pocket-sized range. He wrote, ‘Is it just me or is #MiniMakeup just the #Cutest thing EVER!!’ He’s not wrong.

The response from his followers was of pure joy and excitement. ‘Send them this wayy,’ one commented.

While another said, ‘Always a place in my heart for more minis.’ We couldn’t agree more.
