Update your look with AW15’s hottest new nail trends…
New season is officially here!
While you’ve been updating your wardrobe with cosy knits, winter coats and snug boots, now’s the time to liven up your beauty look with these quick-fix nail trends for a fraction of the cost!
This season’s palette still features some of our favourite’s from last year – think fun metallic polishes and glitter. Beauty’s hottest new trend is also full of rich berry tones, subtle nude shades and cool nail art designs!
We’ve rounded up our favourite New nail trends for autumn 2015. Which one will you try?
Go for glitter
Don’t save your metallics for Christmas! A flash of shimmery gold can transform your look in an instant. Wear as a solid shade or top coat over a contrasting colour for maximum impact!
Ciate Glitter Polishes, £9, won’t break the bank and add instant glam to any mani! Our pick is Carousel.
Berry is back
We can’t get enough of this richy berry shade with a super glossy finish as seen backstage at Derek Lam using JINsoon’s Audacity. Simple but very effective!
Our other favourite berry polish is Nail’s Inc Gel Effect Polish in Kensington High Street, £15. This high-gloss formula is packed full of zinc and calcium to make nails stronger too!
Go back to black this season with gothic matt black nails as seen at Tanya Taylor show in New York. Get the look with YSL’s Couture Metal Manicure Nail Wraps, £25. Just stick on and voila!
Update a classic French Mani with these easy chevron tips as seen at Rebecca Minkoff AW15. Get the look and apply a slick of Barry M Nail Art Pen, £4.99, to the ends of nails and seal with a top coat.
Say it with stripes
Try wearing a thin navy stripe over a dark grey shade for a chic and sophisticated look. Make-up artist Jin Soon used Sally Hansen’s Concrete Jungle to create this look on the catwalk. Try using New Look’s Pure Colour Dark Grey Polish, £2.99, as your base colour. We love!
